International Space Station Watching
So it's October 16th & this week the ISS will be able to be seen from the UK. I tried getting some photographs yesterday, but the sky was too cloudy. So today the weather was more promising, so I set up for the passing of the ISS at 7:07. This was my first attempt with the weather being clear enough, I've not tried anything like this before.
Anyway here's my result.
Whilst waiting to capture the ISS, I noticed a very bright star to the west & initially thought that it was the ISS, as I was watching this bright star underneath it shot a large orange trail across the sky, which i'm presuming was a meteorite or maybe some space junk re-entering/passing through the atmosphere. It was pretty cool to see, wish I had the camera on that.
Until next time! Toodle.
